LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwired - May 21, 2015) - Ensighten, the leading global omni-channel data and tag management provider and company behind the Open Marketing Platform, today announced the appointment of Ian Woolley as General Manager EMEA to lead the company's growing European team. Woolley will consolidate Ensighten's competitive advantage within the market and drive the business forward, whilst growing revenues and long-term relationships with leading brands internationally.
Ian Woolley has almost 20 years of experience in the industry and joins Ensighten following his role as chief commercial officer at Visual DNA. Woolley is also currently chairman at Caldwell Marketing and has previously held senior roles at Interpublic Group's Draft Digital (now FCB Global), blinkx and Burst Media. Throughout his career, Woolley has worked with many global brands such as American Express, Porsche, Sony Music and Volkswagen and delivered over triple-digit revenue growth.
Woolley's appointment follows a succession of senior hires this year, including Jerome Cail, who joined Ensighten from Tealium and led the company's go-to-market strategy in France. Lars Schleibach joined from IBM, and Alexander Gaertner from Adobe, strengthening Ensighten's presence in Germany.
The bolstering of Ensighten's EMEA leadership team will enable it to deliver greater services to the company's growing European customer base, which includes leading brands such as British Airways, Tesco Bank, TUI, Clarks and RBS. Newly expanded professional services such as Ensighten Strategic Services team and the Analytics Solutions Group, announced at the company's fourth annual user conference, AGILITY 2015, will offer senior guidance to marketers who are struggling to navigate the rapidly changing digital marketing landscape. This will enable brands to take full advantage of the data and technology on offer, as well as equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to augment their internal teams.
Ian Woolley, General Manager EMEA at Ensighten, commented, "Ensighten is at an inflexion point in its development and has emerged as a leading enterprise player in the data and tag management market, which is something I'll be looking to capitalise on. Ensighten has a market-leading platform, but what I've been impressed by is the fact that it's backed by exceptional services and a passionate team that are committed to helping marketers maximise the value of digital advertising".
Josh Manion, CEO at Ensighten, continued, "What we consistently hear from clients is that they are keen to connect with their online customers in an increasingly personalised manner, but an overwhelming volume of data and a vast choice of marketing solutions is standing in their way. Ian's experience will be invaluable in helping our customers solve this problem, and his leadership will be underpinned by the fantastic talent we are attracting across all markets."
