IRVINE, CA and NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ--(Marketwired - May 26, 2015) - Paciolan, the leading provider of ticketing, marketing, fundraising and analytics solutions in college athletics, today announced it has extended its long-term partnership with Rutgers University (Rutgers). Rutgers will continue to leverage the company's industry-leading ticketing, Access Management, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and marketing solutions. Rutgers has been a Paciolan partner since 1988. Paciolan is a subsidiary of the Philadelphia-based sports and entertainment firm Comcast-Spectacor.
"We enjoy our long-term partnership with Paciolan and are thrilled to extend our long-term relationship," said Julie Hermann, Athletic Director at Rutgers University. "Our partnership with Paciolan allows us to cohesively work together to implement new technology that increases the fan experience and helps us maximize revenue."
In conjunction with the partnership, Rutgers will continue to utilize Paciolan's online ticketing system to efficiently sell tickets in real-time to all Scarlet Knights events, including season ticket packages, mini plans, groups and student tickets. The all-in-one eCommerce site provides fans with the ability to purchase tickets via an interactive pick-your-own-seat map, easily manage their accounts and tickets online or view their order history.
Rutgers will also continue to leverage Paciolan's Access Management technology to provide fans with print-at-home and mobile 2D barcode tickets to enter venues quickly for a seamless experience entering events. The Access technology also tracks and validates real-time attendance while catching fraudulent tickets upon entrance.
Rutgers previously implemented Paciolan's CRM solution to enhance customer service efforts and provide its staff with a holistic view of every fan, including their ticketing and purchase history. The 360-degree view of fans allows staff to personalize the sales process and track activity within the system from real-time data that enables the university to deliver world-class, personalized service.
"We continue to work with Paciolan to avail new technology advancements that integrate with our system and goals to create an exceptional fan experience," said Geoff Brown, Senior Associate Athletic Director and Chief Marketing Officer at Rutgers University.
Additionally, Rutgers continues to leverage Paciolan's marketing services to expand its communication to fans and broaden its marketing reach. Rutgers utilizes Paciolan's email marketing solution PACmail to tailor segmented messages to fans and increase customer awareness of ticket sales, upcoming events and promotions, as well as the company's display ad retargeting to remarket events specifically to fans who visit their websites, leading to increased sales and revenue.
"We are thrilled to extend our partnership with an exceptional institution in Rutgers University," said Dave Butler, Chief Executive Officer of Paciolan. "Paciolan provides leading, next generation technological solutions that will enable Rutgers to deliver deeper fan engagement that will result in improving the fan experience, and maximizing tickets sales for the University."
