WildTangent Promotes Matt Shea to CEO

Retiring CEO Mike Peronto will remain on company board of directors


REDMOND, Wash., May 26, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- WildTangent today announced that Matt Shea, current company Executive Vice President, has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer. Retiring CEO Mike Peronto will continue serving on WildTangent's board of directors.

Shea started with WildTangent in 2002 and most recently oversaw the company's product development and technology efforts. As CEO, his first priority will be to expand the global presence of the company's new offering for mobile, Application Management Platform (AMP).

Shea has spent the past 18 years in technology, both designing and leading product development. The Puget Sound Business Journal named him to its "40 Under 40" list for his outstanding achievements. Shea holds numerous patents in the area of digital currency, advertising and consumer technology. He began his career at Sony Interactive Studios while earning a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the University of California at San Diego.
