(TSX:NPS), a next generation renewable energy technology company, today announced that all nominees listed in the Information Circular and Proxy Statement of Northern Power, dated April 16, 2015, for the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held May 27, 2015, in New York, New York (the "Meeting") were elected as directors of Northern Power. The seven (7) candidates nominated for election were elected by a majority of the shareholders present in person or represented by proxy at the Meeting, as follows:

In addition, at the Meeting all resolutions put to a vote were approved by the requisite majority of the votes cast at the Meeting, which included a vote to set the number of directors at seven, and a vote to ratify the appointment of McGladrey LLP as Northern Power's independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2015.
