DELRAY BEAC, FL, June 2, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --
The Red
Carnation Hotel Collection
recently announced that
every single one of its 17 properties worldwide has
received a TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence 2015
award. Furthermore, 13 of its properties have been
inducted into TripAdvisor's inaugural Hall of Fame, a higher
proportion than any other UK hotel group.
Now in its fifth year, the Certificate of Excellence
Award celebrates excellence in hospitality and is given
only to establishments that consistently achieve great
traveler reviews on TripAdvisor.
The Hall of Fame has been established to mark the
fifth anniversary of TripAdvisor's Certificates of Excellence
Awards, and recognizes businesses that have earned a
Certificate of Excellence for five consecutive years,
representing only two percent of businesses on TripAdvisor.
Jonathan Raggett, Managing Director of The Red Carnation
Hotels, commented:
"The Red Carnation Hotel Collection is thrilled to have so many of
our properties welcomed in to TripAdvisor's inaugural Hall of Fame.
Winning year after year, together with the high rankings our hotels
enjoy, has had a very positive impact on our business, helping us
stand out from the competition in each of the locations we operate
in. We are firm believers in the transparency of online guest
reviews, which challenges us every day to deliver
exceptional service and incredible guest experiences.
These awards are a great source of pride for the entire team at Red
Carnation Hotels and we would like to thank all of our guests who
have taken the time to complete a review on TripAdvisor."
"TripAdvisor is pleased to honor exceptional hospitality businesses
that have received consistent praise and recognition by travelers
on the site," said Marc Charron, President, TripAdvisor for
Business. "By putting a spotlight on businesses that are
focused on delivering great service to customers, TripAdvisor not
only helps drive an improvement to hospitality standards around the
world, it also gives businesses both large and small the ability to
shine and stand out from the competition."
The Red Carnation Hotels that have been received in to the
Hall of Fame are:
- The Milestone Hotel
- '41'
- Summer Lodge Country House Hotel, Restaurant and Spa
- Ashford Castle
- Hotel d'Angleterre
- The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa
- The Oyster Box
- Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve & Wellness Retreat

About TripAdvisor Certificates of Excellence
TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence Awards celebrate the best
in hospitality and are given only to establishments that
consistently achieve great traveler reviews on TripAdvisor. When
selecting winners, TripAdvisor uses a proprietary algorithm to
determine the recipients, taking into account the quality, quantity
and recency of reviews and opinions submitted by travelers on
TripAdvisor over a 12-month period as well as the business's tenure
and ranking on the Popularity Index on the site. To qualify, a
business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at
least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must
have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
