Autoliv Named Safety Supplier of the Year by Ford


 (AUBURN HILLS, Michigan, June 4, 2015) – – – Autoliv, the worldwide leader in
automotive safety systems, has earned Ford Motor Company's 2014 Safety Supplier
of the Year and 2014 Gold Supplier of the Year for its facility in La Pobla de
Vallbona, Spain.
Ford's 17th Annual World Excellence Awards recognize suppliers that exceed the
company's expectations and distinguish themselves from their peers by achieving
the highest levels of global excellence in quality, cost, performance, and
delivery.

Autoliv’s facility in Spain conducts deployments tests and manufactures products
that save lives, including driver and passenger airbags, side airbags and
inflatable curtain airbags. The honor is the second for the facility, which also
won the Ford World Excellence Gold Award in 2013.
