COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., June 22, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hot Apple Productions, in affiliation with Rainbow Ryders Hot Air Balloon Ride Co., the largest hot air ballooning company in the U.S., announced its balloon lineup for the 39th Annual Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off, which features Darth Vader and Yoda along with seven other special shapes and 75 hot air balloons total. Additionally, the event will have a beer garden and VIP tent, live entertainment and concerts on the big stage and a weekend full of lake activities including wake boarding exhibitions, paddle boarding and other activities at Prospect Lake at Memorial Park in Colorado Springs.
The free event (one of only two in the U.S. that is free) is one of one of the largest hot air ballooning events in the nation and the largest in Colorado.
"Darth Vader and Yoda make very few U.S. appearances," explained Scott Appelman of Hot Apple Productions. "To get them both prior to the launch of the new Star Wars movie makes their appearance even that more special."
Organizations interested in sponsoring the event still have about a month to reserve their spot either for concession or branding opportunities. "We will close out sponsorships at the end of July to allow enough time to produce programs, signage and other promotional materials," Appelman added. "This is a great opportunity for businesses to effectively market and sell to a targeted audience throughout the entire Labor Day weekend."
