Taste Guru is the second Gluten Free subscription service Love With Food has acquired in the last 12 months, after merging with G-Free Foodie in November 2014. This string of strategic acquisitions allows Love With Food to quickly expand its audience and offerings in a rapidly growing market segment.
Market intelligence agency Mintel estimates that 22 percent of adults choose a Gluten Free lifestyle, creating an $8.8 billion market, an increase of 63 percent from 2012. In addition, according to CeliacCentral.org, one in 133 Americans are affected by Celiac disease, an autoimmune disorder that has no pharmaceutical cure and that can only be controlled by proper diet.
