RONKOKOMA, NY--(Marketwired - Jun 25, 2015) - Hawthorne Global Aviation Services today announced that Greg Brinkman was named president of ExcelAire, its private jet charter and management company, headquartered at MacArthur Airport. Previously, Brinkman held the position of COO, ExcelAire for more than 14 years.
Since earning his pilot's license in the late 1970s, Mr. Brinkman has worked as a corporate pilot, aircraft owner, entrepreneur and as COO of ExcelAire. Before joining ExcelAire in 2001, he was a corporate pilot for the investment firm, Kidder, Peabody. Then, in 1989, Mr. Brinkman launched Associated Aircraft Group (AAG), the largest operator of Sikorsky S-76 helicopters on the East Coast, which was acquired by Sikorsky in 1999.
