The event will raise funds for Gilda's Club of the Quad Cities; 100% of the net proceeds of the event are donated and dedicated to supporting breast cancer education and patient assistance programs for people in the local community.

Celebrating its 15th year, the event is conducted by the Quad Cities Chapter of the Executive Women's Golf Association (EWGA), and takes place at the Pinnacle Country Club in Milan, IL.
Gilda's Club is a 501(c)3 charitable non-profit organization where the focus is on living and coping with cancer. Their life-changing programs are offered to everyone dealing with a cancer diagnosis free of charge. Family members and close friends may also receive help in dealing with their loved-one's diagnosis.
Since the Pink Ribbon Classic was founded in 2001 by the Quad Cities Chapter of the EWGA, over $400,000 has been raised to improve services for Quad Cities' cancer patients and to fund valuable breast cancer patient programs.
