SALT LAKE CITY, UT--(Marketwired - Jun 29, 2015) - EnergySolutions announced today that the joint venture company, Canadian National Energy Alliance (CNEA), in which it holds an equity stake, has been selected by the Government of Canada as the preferred bidder to manage and operate Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL) which includes Chalk River Laboratories, Whiteshell Laboratories and other sites throughout Canada.
The CNEA joint venture is led by CH2M and along with EnergySolutions also includes Fluor and SNC-Lavalin, with Rolls Royce as an integrated team subcontractor.

CNEA was selected through a rigorous, comprehensive and competitive procurement process. The Government of Canada and CNEA will finalize the contract over the next few months.
