After more than twenty years in the industry, McCorkle, who also owns Liberty Buick GMC in Charlotte, was ready to expand.

McCorkle rebranded the Patterson dealerships, naming them Mount Airy Toyota Scion and Mount Airy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, which reflects his commitment to serving the Surry County area.
"We have felt so welcomed and supported by the community and by the Patterson family in our first year," says McCorkle, "It's been a year of growth and learning." He and his team look forward to future growth, increasing inventory selections, and providing jobs for the community.
Not only was McCorkle eager to serve in the Mount Airy community, he was happy to be selling such highly regarded brands: Toyota, Scion, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram. "The Toyota Camry continues to be the best-selling car in America," says McCorkle. The dealerships have also enlarged inventory on other popular vehicles like the Chrysler 200, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Challenger, and Ram 1500.
In the first year of business, McCorkle expanded the used car inventory at all of his dealerships. "We have combined our used car inventory at all three stores," explains McCorkle, "This means that our Mount Airy customers can shop our used inventory in Charlotte from the website. If they like what they see, we will drive it up from Charlotte for a test drive." The expansion of the used car inventory means the Mount Airy Toyota and Mount Airy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram have a larger selection of used cars and trucks.
