A tribute to our nation's military, the Hero Flight Program is an exceptional aspect of Window World's sponsorship of Rob Holland Ultimate Airshows' 2015 season. Prior to each of the airshows in which Rob Holland will perform, one veteran is selected from a pool of nominations for a thrilling ride with the world champion aerobatic pilot.
The Oshkosh Hero Flight recipient is a very special nominee, as he's a member of the Window World Family. Lane served 16 years in the U.S. Air Force before joining Window World as owner of the Green Bay store in 2001.
"I'm really excited to fly in a stunt plane," said Lane, in anticipation of his flight. "After 16 years in the U.S. Air Force, this will be a first for me and who better to experience it with than Rob Holland."
In addition to the Hero Flight Program, Window World, Inc. also supports the Veterans Airlift Command (VAC), a non-profit organization that facilitates free air transportation to wounded warriors, veterans and their families for medical and other compassionate purposes. Window World, and stores nationwide, have sponsored over 80 missions to date.
"We are very grateful for the service military members, like Art, give to our country," said Todd Woods, vice president of marketing and market development. "It is a privilege to honor them through these partnerships."
