Dr. Simons completed his medical training at Michigan State University – College of Human Medicine and Dermatology Residency was completed at Henry Ford Hospital of which he was Chief Resident. He is a member of American Academy of Dermatology, Michigan Dermatological Society, American Medical Association, Grand Traverse County Medical Society and Michigan State Medical Society. Dr. Simons was awarded the distinguished Bronze Star for his heroic service during the Vietnam War.
