SALT LAKE CITY, UT--(Marketwired - August 13, 2015) - Mountain America Credit Union will help make the dreams of Utah kids facing life-threatening illnesses come true by inspiring the community to "post with a purpose."
Both Make-A-Wish Utah and Mountain America will post a series of challenges to the public via Facebook. By completing the challenges, participants will have the chance to win prizes throughout the entire campaign. Participants are encouraged to share posts and like both companies Facebook pages in an effort to help share the Make-A-Wish mission and the power of a wish with members of their community. All participants will be entered to win the grand prize -- four tickets to Disneyland® in California!
The Wishing Quest campaign runs August 15-September 19, 2015.
The kick-off event is Saturday, August 15 at Make-A-Wish's 27th Annual Rubber Ducky Derby, a special reunion event for Utah's Wish Kids and their families. More than 800 wish family members will come together to share their stories and triumphs, while enjoying an action-packed day at Seven Peaks Salt Lake.
"Mountain America is a tremendous community organization and understands the impact of a wish in the life of a child," says Jared Perry, Make-A-Wish Utah's CEO. "Wishes are completely supported by the generosity of our community and Mountain America has made giving easy, anyone can now support us by simply "liking" the Mountain America Facebook page and asking others in their social networks to do the same."
