SPOKANE, Wash., Aug. 13, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- RLHC (Red Lion Hotels Corporation) (NYSE:RLH) today announced it has opened two new franchise locations in California, including the Red Lion Hotel Bakersfield and the Red Lion Inn & Suites Auburn.

The Red Lion Hotel Bakersfield, located at 2620 Buck Owens Blvd, has 198 guest rooms, a restaurant and lounge, and 4,000 square feet of meeting space, which was remodeled in 2014. Prior to converting to the brand, the owners invested in an updated lobby, fitness center and all new bedding and televisions for the guest rooms. The hotel has an Olympic-sized outdoor pool and spa, business center, and offers complimentary Wi-Fi for Hello Rewards members.
The Bakersfield hotel is conveniently located within easy access of the vibrant downtown area, offering guests a variety of shops, restaurants and attractions, including the Kern County Fairgrounds, the Buck Owens Crystal Palace, Camelot Park and the Fox Theater.
