Association for Vascular Access (AVA) TV Partners with Teleflex as AVA TV Channel Sponsor


WASHINGTON, DC, Aug. 19, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TV Worldwide, since 1999, a pioneering web-based global TV network, announced that its private label Internet TV Channel, produced in cooperation with the Association for Vascular Access (AVA) , AVA TV  , had received a strategic channel sponsorship from Teleflex, a leading provider of specialty medical devices for a range of procedures in critical care and surgery.

The AVA TV channel, which has been producing video for the vascular access community since its launch in beta form in the fall of 2014, has continued to grow its audience base to well over 100,000 viewing professionals from the vascular access community. Under the terms of the Teleflex AVA TV Sponsorship Agreement, AVA TV will produce important live and on-demand programming of critical interest to vascular access professionals including the upcoming August 29th live webcast of the Teleflex-Sponsored Central Venous Catheter (CVC) training at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, in cooperation with the San Diego Vascular Access Network (SANVAN).

The Teleflex support of the channel will also assist AVA TV in expanding its upcoming live webcast coverage of the AVA 2015 29th Annual Scientific Meeting, September 26-29, 2015 at the Gaylord Texan near Dallas, Texas.

In addition to live webcast coverage of AVA events, AVA TV features regular emerging disease updates, newscasts and other interactive programming related to professional development, best practices and the latest advances in the vascular access community.
