David W. Wroe is Founder and President of Clareworks, with a wealth of senior-level management and IT experience accumulated during a 40-year career. He served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Agency Management Services (AMS), Inc. (now Vertafore, Inc.) from its founding in 1983 to 1996. He was Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of CNA Insurance Companies from 1996 to 2001, where he led a 3,000-person IT organization and was responsible for making technology decisions for 20,000 employees worldwide. Early in his career, he was production control manager for Texas Instruments and was involved in the Apollo space program, the B-1 bomber, the introduction of the TI calculator and other high-profile projects. He serves on the Strategic Advisory Board of Genstar Capital, LLC, and as a Director of Insurity, Inc.
Dennis H. Chookaszian, CPA, formerly served as the Chairman and CEO of CNA Insurance Companies and prior to that as President and Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Chief Information Officer (CIO). He is the former Chairman and CEO of mPower.com, Inc., and he served as Chairman of the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAC) from 2007 to 2012. Chookaszian is currently an adjunct professor at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and has held board and advisory positions at over sixty companies including the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Loews Corporation, CNA Financial Corporation, Sapient, Guidewire, Vericlaim, MacDonald Dettwiler, Internet Patents Corporation (InsWeb Corp.), Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, ClaimForce, Castek Software, Career Education Corporation, Accupax, Alliant Resources, Confie Seguros, and Insurity.
