ASIS and (ISC)(2)(R) to host Career Center at ASIS 2015 and (ISC)(2) Security Congress


ALEXANDRIA , Va., Aug. 26, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Security professionals can get answers to their most pressing career questions and challenges at the 4th Annual Career Center, taking place at ASIS 2015 and the (ISC)² Security Congress in Anaheim, California. Sponsored by University of Phoenix,® College of Security and Criminal Justice, the Career Center, taking place in booth 174 in the exhibit hall, features two days (September 28-29) of free professional development, career coaching and resume reviews, and opportunities to network with employers and peers from around the world. Admission to the exhibit hall is free until August 31.

New this year, in conjunction with Law Enforcement and Military Appreciation Day, the Career Center will host a Coffee and Conversation: Transitioning Networking Event on September 30 from 9:00-11:00 am. Military, law enforcement, and first responders are invited to attend and meet with employers including Securitas Security Services USA, ASIS and (ISC)² volunteer leaders, and private sector security peers to learn about ASIS activities, get advice on transitioning, and learn about the wide range of career opportunities in the private sector.
