V7 Introduces On-the-Go Flash Drives to Support Data Storage and Transfer From Apple and Android Devices to PCs and Laptops

(NYSE: IM), today introduced its new lineup of On-the-Go Flash Drives, providing consumers with easy-to-use, ultra-fast and secure data storage and transfer from Apple^® and Android^™ devices to personal computers (PCs) and laptops.

All drives are "plug-and-play" with no drivers and feature high speed data transfer rates for fast and efficient file download from mobile devices to the drive, and file upload from the drive to laptops or PCs -- providing the responsiveness today's consumers demand. The drives feature slide-out connectors to easily connect devices, which retract into the body of the drive when not in use for protection from dust and to safeguard transport.

The V7 MFI-Certified Lightning^™ On-the-Go Flash Drives are available in storage capacities of up to 64GB, are MFI-Certified for use with all devices running the Apple iOS operating system, and which are equipped with a lightning connector.

Featuring both USB 2.0 and lightning connectors, the drives are ideal for offline data sharing between laptops and Apple iOS devices or between Apple iOS devices. The lightning connector slides out to connect and support data transfer via Apple devices; the USB connector slides out the opposite side to support data transfer to PCs or laptops.

High-speed data transfer is supported by read/write speeds up to 8MB/s, and the ability to copy 100MB of data in 15 seconds. The drive offers flexible storage options to store files on the local storage partition or on externally accessible storage. Highly secure AES 256 Bit encryption keeps data safe. Also included is the iSafeFile^™ file management tool, which makes it easy to browse, view, copy, move, share, and encrypt files on the iPhone or iPad. The V7 Dual Connector On-the-Go Flash Drives are available in storage capacities of up to 64GB and are equipped with a full-size USB 2.0 and Micro USB connector for compatibility with laptops, smartphones and tablets running the Android 4.0 operating system and later versions. 

Backed by V7 customer service and a 5-year warranty, the drives support high speed data transfer with read speeds of 12 MB/s and write speeds of over 4 MB/s, and are auto detected when used with Android 4.0+ devices.
