Top Mobile Executives to Explore NFC Technology Trends and Opportunities at 2015 NFC Solutions Summit

PRINCETON JUNCTION, N.J., Sept. 14, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Executives from leading mobile, financial services and retail organizations will provide insights on the opportunities and issues facing mobile NFC technology and mobile payments adoption during a full day of keynote presentations next month at the 2015 NFC Solutions Summit, the most anticipated NFC event of the year.

The 2015 NFC Solutions Summit is presented by the Smart Card Alliance in partnership with the NFC Forum, and will be held on October 7-8 at the Arizona Grand Resort in Phoenix. Details about the event, attendees, exhibitors and agenda for the conference are now available at http://www.nfcsolutionssummit.com. Early registration discounts are available until September 16.

"NFC is gaining traction quickly in the U.S. A recent Juniper study says that globally, the number of contactless mobile wallet users globally will jump by 100 percent to 200 million total users by the end of 2016. With so many consumers getting used to using the technology, we have an opportunity to expand NFC into other non-payment applications such as access, identity, ticketing and marketing," said Randy Vanderhoof, executive director of the Smart Card Alliance. "The speakers will explore these and other opportunities at this year's NFC Solutions Summit in Phoenix."
