The We Heart Local Awards is a partnership between the BC Agriculture Council, Taku Resort & Marina, BC Dairy Association, Wine BC, BC Association of Farmers' Markets, LOCO BC, BC Restaurants and Foodservices Association, Tourism Vancouver and Edible Vancouver & Wine Country Magazine.

Here are some of the highlights of the 2015 We Heart Local Awards:

• This year's We Heart Local Awards garnered 286 nominees across 15 categories, receiving nearly 15,000 votes.
• There were 24,500 visits to the www.weheartlocalawards.ca site to nominate, vote, and learn about the 3rd annual We Heart Local Awards.
• Five weekly prize draws ($100 VQA BC gift cards) were awarded each week to five randomly-drawn participants who voted and /or nominated for their local BC favourites.
• The Grand prize, a luxurious three-night stay at Taku Resort and Marina for two, valued at over $2000, has been awarded to our lucky winner!
