This is the third book released under the co-publishing agreement between Elsevier and China Electric Power Press (CEPP), the publishing subsidiary of SGCC.
Professor Liu recently participated in the Edison Electric Institute's seminar, "Internet to Interconnections - Global Energy Interconnection Internet to Interconnections - Global Energy Interconnection," where his new book was launched. At the seminar on September 14 attended by several United Nations representatives and other prominent figures in the energy community, Professor Liu discussed energy as a core issue in socio-economic development. He indicated that we should be solving energy problems and challenges with longer-term strategies that account for resource constraints, environmental pollution and climate change.
The books co-published by Elsevier and CEPP can help researchers, students and professionals solve global energy challenges. The newest book, Global Energy Interconnection, analyzes the current situation and the challenges of global energy development. It provides readers with objectives, strategy, basic patterns, construction methods and development modes for a global energy network.
