RegEd Compliance Thought Leaders to Participate in 2015 SILA National Education Conference

Raleigh, NC, Sept. 23, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- RegEd, the leading provider of compliance technology solutions to the financial services industry, including Xchange, the market-leading Enterprise Licensing and Registration solution, announced its participation in the 2015 Securities and Insurance Licensing Association (SILA) Conference in Nashville, TN on October 4-7, 2015.

SILA provides an educational forum for members to exchange information, best practices and ideas that resolve issues common to the industry and to improve licensing and registration across the country. RegEd has supported the SILA mission for over 15 years and is proud to be a SILA Platinum Sponsor. This year RegEd executives and representatives from the company's Regulatory Affairs, Sales, Product Management and Implementation groups will join more than 1,500 SILA members during the three-day conference.

John M. Schobel, RegEd CEO and Founder, stated, "RegEd is thrilled to participate in the 26th SILA National Conference, which provides a unique opportunity for attendees to build their compliance knowledge, address key challenges, and discuss important licensing and registration best practices that can dramatically increase efficiency". Schobel continued, "This year RegEd will showcase Xchange Smart Appointment automation, which enables Licensing and Registration professionals to efficiently manage the appointment cycle, saving significant time and resources. Using Smart Appointments, firms can lower their rejection rates and avoid costly and unnecessary state fees."

A number of RegEd compliance thought leaders and subject matter experts are participating on panels and roundtables at this year's conference: Margie Webber, Governance Chair on the SILA Board of Directors and a Senior Member of RegEd's Regulatory Affairs Group, will moderate the panel, Walk the Line or Face Enforcement. The panel provides an interactive review of recent securities-related enforcement trends and will discuss best practices to reduce or eliminate firm risk exposures that can lead to enforcement actions.

Susan Boles, also a Senior Member of RegEd's Regulatory Affairs Group, will co-anchor the SILA Morning News and moderate a roundtable focused on adjuster licensing. Boles has also been nominated for SILA's prestigious Licensing/Registration Administrator of the Year Award. The award is presented to the nominee who best demonstrates leadership and initiative in addressing and overcoming licensing and compliance issues. The SILA Board of Directors will announce the winner at the SILA Awards and Designation Recognition session on Tuesday, October 6th.

RegEd is exhibiting at the conference and can be located at Booths 34 and 35 in the main exhibit hall of the Gaylord Opryland Hotel.
