Vancouver fintech company AgilityForex to give $100 million in free currency transfers to Canadian startups

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Sept. 24, 2015) - AgilityForex, a new international payments company that removes the fees and charges associated with foreign exchange, is helping other new technology companies save money. Launching today at Vancouver Startup Week, AgilityForex will give $100 million of free currency exchanges and payments to the startup community. These exchanges will be made at the wholesale Interbank rate.

With banks regularly taking in excess of one per cent of a transactions value in fees and spread this could amount to a total saving for the industry of over $1 million.

Once a company is signed up they have until February 29th 2016 to utilize the free transfers up to a maximum of $2 million per company and overall total of $100 million. There is no limit to the number of transfers a company can do up to the $2 million company total.
