NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Oct 7, 2015) - ThinOps Resources, the wholly owned subsidiary of Code Rebel Corp. (
The client chose to begin this POC with several offices in the US. Their internal IT resources had been working for some time to build a POC environment that would provide secure access to several internal applications to varied end user devices such as Chromebooks, tablets, and smart phones, while maintaining strict security compliance. However, due to complexities of their desired solution, policy requirements in the environment and the silo nature of the IT teams, this proved to be a daunting task.
After a lengthy "white board session," ThinOps was engaged in September 2015 to understand the business objectives of the POC and put together a plan to prove the feasibility of their desired solution and deliver a working POC. The ThinOps plan consisted of deploying and upgrading parts of the environment to enable the successful integration of their open source two factor provider into the authentication process used to access the internal company resources.
The goal of this method was to provide secure remote access with two-factor authentication to authorized personnel in a seamless and stress free manner. In the process of deploying the POC, ThinOps consultants had to re-configure pieces of the infrastructure like switches, server blades and virtual environments, as well assist security and networking teams in the implementation of changes necessary to meet the pre-requisites of the POC.
"This multi-vendor solution was an out-of-the-ordinary project delivered on very short timelines, and showcases the unique value of having multi-disciplined consultants in our organization who can design and implement across multiple traditional IT silos -- thereby enabling organizations to achieve success quickly," said Jeremy Dreyer, the ThinOps team lead for the project.
Tom Moreno, President of Code Rebel, commented, "We are extremely proud of how well our team executed and delivered this rather complex project, and look forward to bringing this experience to other new projects for current clients and future prospects -- which will not only add to revenue, but also further solidify ThinOps as the ultimate expert enabler of enterprise virtualization and remote access solutions."
