EIB invites offers to sell back DKK 2% 2026 bond


“The European Investment Bank (EIB) announces today an invitation to the holders of DK0030033881 EIB 2% 2026 (the “Bonds”) to submit offers (the “Offers” and each an “Offer”) to sell back the Bonds in whole or in part for cash. 

The terms of the Offer is DKK 10yr midswaps vs 6 months + 0.04%, with settlement date the 16.10.2015. At pricing the DKK 10yr midswaps will be defined as EUR 10yr midswaps plus the 10yr EUR/DKK midswap spread. Holders of the Bonds whose Offers will be accepted will also receive an amount of cash equal to any accrued and unpaid interest on their accepted Bonds, from and including the last applicable interest payment date up to, but excluding, the settlement date of this Offer.

The Offer is valid today with immediate effect and terminates at 11:45am CET today 09.10.2015. Pricing will take place at 11:50am today by reference to the ICAE58 and ICAD36 screens on Bloomberg. Bonds purchased by EIB will be cancelled, and the outstanding notional amount will be decreased corresponding to the notional amount bought back.  EIB is under no obligation to accept for purchase any Offers, however, EIB plans to purchase all of the Bonds Offered. 

This invitation is subject to the EIB’s right, in its sole discretion, to extend, terminate, withdraw or amend this invitation at any time.  Holders of Bonds who would like to submit Offers should contact the Dealer Manager, Nordea Markets, Jan Sass Kindberg, tel +45 33 33 19 31 to indicate their interest.”
