SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 15, 2015) - Today, FUSION announced that its technology news site Real Future will host a two-day technology forum at Innovation Hanger in San Francisco. Comprised of performances, audience experimentation, live journalism and thought-provoking dialogue, Real Future Fair will challenge you to experience and see technology unlike ever before. The Real Future Forum will take place on November 6 and Real Future Fair on November 7.
"This is the conference that I always wanted to attend in San Francisco -- a diverse party where the people doing the work of technology and culture get together to share and critique the world we're building," said FUSION editor-in-chief Alexis Madrigal.
Day one, Real Future Forum, will be filled with creative conversations exploring about how technology is changing our world and what's next. Keynote speakers include Linda Avey, Co-Founder of 23AndMe, and Facebook's Director of Product Design Julie Zhou. Real Future sessions will dive into the future of money, storytelling, privacy, health, sex, law and more. The day will conclude with a Robot Cocktail Party -- a happy hour event where robots will serve drinks and mingle with guests.
Day two, Real Future Fair, will be a free event open to the public, with drone demonstrations, a robot petting zoo, programming from Code for America and The Long Now and a Retro Futures Film Festival. The day will end with the Real Future of Sound, an event exploring technology and its impact on sound, with performances from local Bay Area musicians pushing the boundaries of audible art and a closing dance party that you don't want to miss.
