Baker to the Object Management Group (OMG) Board of Directors. This appointment, which is effective immediately, further deepens Sparx Systems investment in supporting the development of open standards and tool-based integration of standards-based modeling processes.
Over the course of the next 2 years Mr. Baker will participate in discussions and vote on issues that will support OMG's future growth, success and value to all stakeholders. The OMG Board is directly responsible for oversight in the areas of finance, management and strategic relationships, as well as development of ongoing corporate strategy.
J.D. Baker is a Systems Engineer specializing in enterprise architecture and methodologies that support model-based systems engineering. He has held a seat on the OMG Architecture Board and is a member of INCOSE and the IEEE Computer Society. Sparx Systems has enjoyed a longstanding relationship with the standards consortium, with J.D. Baker representing Sparx Systems at the OMG as well as the Healthcare Standards organization HL7.
