Radware Signs $1.5M Contract With Cloud Hosting Provider for Cyber Attack Mitigation

MAHWAH, N.J., Oct. 23, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Radware® (NASDAQ:RDWR), a leading provider of cyber security and application delivery solutions ensuring optimal service level for applications in virtual, cloud and software defined data centers, announced that a leading global cloud hosting company that focuses on business continuity and disaster recovery, awarded Radware a $1.5M contract for a comprehensive cyber-attack mitigation solution.

The Radware Attack Mitigation Solution will enable this customer to vigilantly monitor their networks leveraging advanced behavioral analysis of all incoming traffic to detect attacks without impacting legitimate traffic. Radware solutions offers the highest levels of attack mitigation in the industry, including 300Gbps of bandwidth, 230 million packet-per-second inspection, and full attack vector coverage in a single device. The Radware Attack Mitigation Solution can also deliver over 1 Tbps of cloud-based protection, covering the full array of volumetric DDoS attacks, Low & Slow attacks, attacks behind CDNs, and SSL-based flood attacks.

Cyber-attacks continue to grow in volume, duration and sophistication, from Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks designed to shut down a network to sophisticated application layer attacks meant purely to access and steal data. This cloud hosting provider evaluated every option, and chose Radware as their comprehensive Attack Mitigation Solution to protect their global network. In addition to Radware’s unique attack detection and mitigation capabilities, a key factor in this service provider’s decision was Radware’s ability to leverage its DefenseFlow offering to scale the solution as their network and application infrastructure grows. DefenseFlow is a network-wide detection and cyber control application designed to support both Netflow and SDN/Openflow networks by providing new and comprehensive ways of detecting, investigating and mitigating network-wide, multi-vector attacks.

“Radware believes in the principle of detecting attacks where ever you can and mitigating them where you should,” said David Anderson, Corporate Vice President North America for Radware. “Our Attack Mitigation Solution can distribute detection across existing and future networks and intelligently direct the right resources for mitigation based on the nature of the attack.”
