SAN ANTONIO, TX--(Marketwired - Oct 27, 2015) - Alorica, a worldwide leading provider of customer management outsourcing solutions, today announced that it will donate toys to three local Fisher House locations and hold a ribbon cutting ceremony as a continuation of the company's pledge to foster growth and support local veterans and military families. The donation will be made in the name of the company's diversity initiative, AloriCares, which supports US military veterans and their spouses by connecting them to the many career opportunities that Alorica provides.
"The city of San Antonio, as the second largest military city in the country, is an exceptionally giving community," said Marianne Strobel, vice president AloriCares at Alorica. "We are committed to helping our veterans and military families ease into the workplace and are thrilled to work with Fisher House Foundation in order to continue these efforts."
Alorica's relationship with Fisher House -- a home-away-from-home for families of the seriously ill or injured -- began earlier this year and is part of a long-term initiative to advance the care, treatment and support of active military, veterans and military families. In October, Alorica, in partnership with its client, La Quinta Inns & Suites, teamed up to donate over $70,000 to Fisher House Foundation, and is on track to donate more than $100,000 by end of 2015.
"The Alorica team has always placed a great emphasis on making lives better for our people and our communities," said Andy Lee, chairman and CEO of Alorica. "I am extremely proud of our continued commitment to provide career opportunities and community support in San Antonio."
The charitable donation will be presented during a ceremony at Alorica's Crosswinds location. The ceremony will take place at 11603 Crosswinds Way at 10:30am CT and is open to the public. Following the ceremony, Alorica will host a job fair at 2:30pm CT at the same location.

About Fisher House Foundation
Fisher House Foundation is best known for the network of comfort homes built on the grounds of major military and VA medical centers. The Fisher Houses are 5,000 to 16,800 square-foot homes, donated to the military and Department of Veterans Affairs, where families can stay while a loved one is receiving treatment. Additionally, the Foundation ensures that families of service men and women wounded in Iraq or Afghanistan are not burdened with unnecessary expense during a time of crisis. Located in close proximity to the medical center or hospital it serves, each Fisher House consists of between 8 and 21 suites, with private bedrooms and baths. Families share a common kitchen, laundry facilities, spacious dining room and an inviting living room with a library and toys for children. Fisher House Foundation ensures that there is no fee to stay in a Fisher House. Since inception, the program has saved military and veteran families an estimated $192 million in out of pocket costs for lodging and transportation.
