DENVER and CLIFTON, N.J., Oct. 29, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Recondo Technology (Recondo) and Sutherland Healthcare Solutions announced today a partnership to enhance Recondo’s cloud-based revenue cycle connectivity and applications with Sutherland’s revenue cycle management (RCM) and business process outsourcing (BPO) solutions. The agreement also calls for Sutherland to resell Recondo’s solutions to the more than 100 healthcare organizations who leverage Sutherland’s BPO, IT outsourcing, consulting, and analytics portfolio of solutions.
The partnership joins Sutherland’s RCM expertise and proficiency in improving the end-user experience and support services with Recondo’s ability to ensure proper and accelerated payments across the care continuum. Hospital customers of both companies will benefit from the combination of Sutherland’s services and Recondo’s applications to improve the efficiency of their revenue cycle.
“We are very pleased to have an organization like Recondo utilize our capabilities to cost-effectively automate and manage aspects of their solution development. In addition, the combination of Recondo’s robust cloud-based solution and Sutherland’s comprehensive suite of billing services represents a distinctive, best-in-class revenue management offering that Sutherland will be taking to the provider segment market,” said Sutherland Healthcare Solutions Chief Executive Officer Thomas Laur.
Sutherland was ranked as a high performer by leading analyst firm HfS Research in its September 2015 report, Blueprint for Healthcare Payer Operations and their May 2015 report, Blueprint for Population Health and Care Management Business Services. Recondo secured two notable industry analyst rankings in the last three months: The company’s EmpoweredPatientAccess™ suite was highlighted for achieving the greatest year-over-year score improvement in the “KLAS 2015 Midterm Performance Review: Software & Services Report”; and Recondo’s EligibilityPlus™ data service scored the top Black Book ranking in the Insurance and Payer Eligibility category (two other Recondo solutions made the Top 10 in other Black Book categories for hospital revenue cycle).
“This partnership is a win-win for Recondo, Sutherland and especially our joint hospital customers,” said Recondo Chief Executive Officer Jay Deady. “We will work collaboratively with Sutherland’s hundreds of experienced revenue cycle team members to create a 24×7 technology team that will help us meet the expanding market demand for our solutions. And we’re pleased that Sutherland will be reselling Recondo’s solutions to help our joint clients further accelerate and streamline their revenue cycle with the combination of Sutherland’s business process outsourcing expertise and our patient access and claims follow-up capabilities.”
