DENVER, Nov. 3, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Frontier Airlines is offering double miles and double Elite qualifying miles on all new bookings made starting today through Dec. 31, 2015 for travel through the end of this calendar year. This special double miles promotion will allow customers to redeem award travel and earn Elite status more quickly.

"Moderate and more frequent travelers also can earn Elite status more quickly.
Elite Status is much more attainable on Frontier than on other U.S. airlines. For example, Frontier gives Elite Status at just 20,000 miles or 25 segments in a 12-month period while legacy carriers offer customers elite status at 25,000 miles or 30 segments. Two legacy airlines also require a minimum $3,000 annual spend on the respective carriers.
Frontier Elite members receive priority check-in, boarding and security; free advance seat assignments; Stretch seating at check-in; a free carry-on bag; same-day confirmed changes as well as other fee waivers. Double Miles Promotion Terms and Conditions
Tickets must be purchased and travel completed by 11:59 pm Eastern time on December, 31 2015 for all destinations including nonstop and connecting flights. Double miles promotion only applies to new bookings purchased after 11:59 pm on November 1, 2015. No blackout dates apply.
Double miles promotion is valid toward both redeemable and Elite qualifying miles.
