James W. Furlong to become new Head of Americas and member of the Group Executive Committee of the Belimo Group


The BELIMO Holding AG Board of Directors appointed James W. Furlong as the Head of Americas and member of the Group Executive Committee. Mr. Furlong is the successor of Lars van der Haegen, who has been leading as CEO of the Belimo Group since July 1, 2015.

J. Furlong has been managing the industrial refrigeration business of Johnson Controls, Building Efficiency Group, with global accountability since 2008. From 1999-2008, he worked in various functions at the Baltimore Aircoil Company, Inc., and also worked in various functions at York International Corporation from 1991-1999. J. Furlong is a professional engineer (P.E.) with a bachelor's degree in Engineering from the Manhattan College in Riverdale, New York and a master's degree in Business Administration from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland. With his extensive experience in the HVAC field, he has the necessary qualifications to lead and further develop Belimo in the Americas. He will enter his new role on March 1, 2016.
