WESTON, Fla., Dec. 8, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The latest evolution of the EVO-SP® System incorporates a Gen 2 HMI Control Panel featuring an improved display. The new HMI display has improved graphics and is designed for harsher environments like those encountered in oil and gas operations. Like the previous systems the wiring harness is plug and play with no need to land individual wires in the field.
This latest evolution in the technology makes the system even more robust than previous versions. "Core functionality and the ability to achieve high substitution rates remains the same in this newest Gen 2 version of our EVO-SP® System", said Jason Green, GFS Corp's President. "We are committed to bringing superior products to market and this is just another step in our efforts towards continuous product improvement."
In addition to the improvements to the base system, GFS is now offering a lower priced system targeting in-line six cylinder applications, 500 Kw and below. The new system, branded the EVO-SP® 0500 System, includes all of the core functionality and safeties. The system does not include a HMI control panel but instead is set up using a laptop computer that is disconnected after commissioning is completed. No user input is required after commissioning. This new system makes NG+D® bi-fuel affordable on smaller engines.
All of GFS Corp's EVO-SP® 1000, 2000, 4000 and 6000 Systems are currently being shipped with the Gen 2 HMI control panel. The company is taking orders for the EVO-SP® 0500 Systems and they are available now.
