Willhem acquires Wallenstam’s properties in Helsingborg

Wallenstam and Willhem have entered into agreements that Willhem will gradually
acquire Wallenstam’s properties in Helsingborg. The agreements cover
approximately 380 rental apartments in total, of which almost half are under
construction. The estimated property value on completion will be about SEK 1.3
billion in total.
The portfolio in question consists of existing properties as well as properties
under construction, and contains both apartments and premises. All have central
and attractive locations in Helsingborg Municipality.

Willhem will take possession of the properties after they have been completed
and occupation has taken place. The properties will thus be taken into
possession in stages during 2016-2017.

“We have decided to focus our operations on the Gothenburg and Stockholm regions
including Uppsala, so we are delighted about the cooperation with Willhem. This
means that we can entrust the properties to a secure and long-term owner with
extensive experience of rental properties. We are now passing on the baton we
have held since 1986 to a fine company with the ability to move forward in the
best way,” says CEO Hans Wallenstam.

“We are very pleased to have received the opportunity to acquire such fine
properties. They are real pearls, which will be an excellent addition to our
existing portfolio in Helsingborg. We have identified Helsingborg as an
attractive location for us to grow in, so the transaction is completely in line
with our long-term ambitions,” says Mikael Granath, CEO of Willhem.

The transaction includes the properties Oskar II 11, Pål Ibb 21, Vildvinet 1, 3
and 4 as well as Skäran 1.
