Media Advisory: Study Conducted on Behalf of Express Employment Professionals by Harris Poll to be Released Starting Wednesday, Dec. 16

Views on Canadians' optimism, their future, immigration, the economy and achieving the "Canadian Dream"

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Dec. 14, 2015) - On Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015, Express Employment Professionals, one of North America's largest franchised staffing companies, will release results of a new, comprehensive survey conducted by Harris Poll covering a range of topics that contrasts the views of immigrants with those born in Canada.

"Do people come to Canada for opportunity? Is the 'Canadian Dream' beyond reach or do people still believe in it? As the labor force changes, we thought it was important to learn how the views of immigrants contrast with the views of Canadian-born citizens," said Bob Funk, CEO of Express Employment Professionals. "The results of this research are fascinating."

The survey results will include:

  • Canadians' views on the economy and hopes for the future. Do people still believe in the Canadian Dream? How do they define it?
  • Canadians' views on immigrants and economic opportunity. Do immigrants' views differ from Canadian-born citizens?
