WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - Jan 6, 2016) - BuckleySandler LLP, a premier financial services, government enforcement and litigation law firm, announced today the promotion of 11 attorneys from three of the firm's five offices, effective January 1, 2016.
Katherine L. Halliday, Stephen M. LeBlanc and James T. Shreve, of the firm's Washington, DC office, and Brett J. Natarelli, of the firm's Chicago office, were promoted from Associate to Counsel.
Noel M. Gruber, Jonathan D. Jerison and Lori J. Sommerfield, of the Washington, DC office, Warren W. Traiger, of the New York office, and R. David Whitaker, of the Chicago office, were promoted from Counsel to Senior Counsel.
In addition, Sally A. Braeuer and John A. Kimble, both of Washington, DC, were promoted from Regulatory Attorney to Associate.

Katherine L. Halliday represents financial services clients in a wide range of litigation matters, including class actions and government enforcement matters. Recently Ms. Halliday has defended a lender-placed insurance provider in multiple putative class actions lawsuits and represented several banks in ongoing government investigations. She received her J.D. from George Washington University and her A.B. from Duke University.
Stephen M. LeBlanc focuses his practice on a wide range of litigation matters, including class actions, complex civil litigation, and lender-placed insurance, as well as in government enforcement matters and internal investigations. He received his J.D. from American University and his B.S. from Northeastern University.
Brett J. Natarelli represents financial services clients in a variety of litigation and compliance matters, with focus on defense of mortgage-related class actions and providing compliance advice related to default mortgage servicing, foreclosures and loss mitigation. He is currently assisting in the defense of multiple bank defendants in suits seeking repurchase and indemnification arising out of sale of billions of dollars in mortgage loans into residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS). He received his J.D. from the University of Chicago and his B.A. from Benedictine University.
James T. Shreve advises clients in a wide range of privacy, data security, and cyber risk issues, including matters regarding information sharing limitations, safeguarding and disposal requirements, and identity theft red flags programs. He received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh and his B.A. from Lake Forest College.
