FARGO, ND--(Marketwired - Jan 27, 2016) - Intelligent Ag, a leader in electronics for modern farming, is introducing its new Air Cart Monitor at this year's KMOT Ag Expo in Minot, North Dakota. The monitoring system will provide bin level monitoring, ground-drive clutch control, meter roll shaft speed, meter box and fan speed RPM -- all delivered wirelessly to the cab and displayed on an iPad.
Intelligent Ag's Air Cart Monitor was designed to retrofit many existing air carts that lack sophisticated monitoring. It will work alone or will seamlessly integrate with the Wireless Blockage and Flow Monitor from Intelligent Ag. Growers who utilize both monitoring systems will be able to view all the data within the same app.
Intelligent Ag's Wireless Blockage and Flow Monitor was introduced in 2011 and has been continuing to gain popularity across the US, Canada and Australia. A ground-breaking innovation that utilizes acoustic-based sensors on air seeding implements, the system monitors every opener and uses an iPad to instantly display blockages and flow levels (including flow variance from manifold to manifold). The Wireless Blockage and Flow Monitor delivers a more complete view of how the implement is performing and will arm farmers with the data they need to more effectively tune and balance their equipment for maximum performance and efficiency.
"We're always pushing our technology forward, and the new Air Cart Monitor is a direct result of listening to our customers and addressing their needs," said product manager Jason Wisniewski. "Many growers are using air carts without the latest technology and this hassle-free solution is the ideal way to get the most out of their older iron," Wisniewski said.
Intelligent Ag and its 300 dealers across the US and Canada are now accepting orders for the spring seeding season. To learn more, visit www.intelligentag.com.
