NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - February 08, 2016) - Ghostery, a global technology leader empowering consumers and businesses to create safer, faster and more trusted digital experiences, today announced it has appointed Jim Weber as chief financial officer. Weber will oversee Ghostery's financial and administrative operations with a focus on accelerating company growth in response to consumer demand for better digital experiences.
"Jim has a proven track record of leading SaaS companies to transformational growth, which made him the ideal fit to join as CFO," said Scott Meyer, CEO of Ghostery. "2016 is shaping up to be another high-growth year for Ghostery as we focus on evolving our SaaS digital experience platform, MCM, as well as our transparency and privacy tools. We are excited to see the immediate and long term impacts of Jim's leadership and expertise on Ghostery's future."
"We're in the age of fast-paced innovation and fierce competition, especially in the SaaS industry," said Weber, CFO of Ghostery. "I've been very impressed by Ghostery's ability to create the market and maintain a position of leadership while continuously delivering cutting edge solutions for its customers. Simplifying complex business needs in this way is a rarity in the SaaS sector, and I'm eager to apply my experience to help take Ghostery's business to the next level."
Weber has more than 20 years of financial management experience, with a background that includes financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, strategic planning, corporate finance and risk management.
