UltiSat Awarded Contract to Provide Integrated and Managed SATCOM Network Solution

GAITHERSBURG, MD--(Marketwired - February 16, 2016) - UltiSat, Inc., a leading provider of end-to-end managed satellite network solutions, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract by SOS International (SOSi) to provide an integrated and managed satellite communications network solution in Taji, Iraq. SOSi is a provider of logistics, construction, training, intelligence, and information technology solutions to clients in the defense, diplomatic, intelligence and law enforcement communities.

UltiSat is tasked to deploy, operate, and maintain a satellite ground terminal that will support over 60 Mbps of connectivity including data, voice, video, and wireless applications. As part of its work, UltiSat will establish a scalable solution that can grow to over 100 Mbps within a 24-hour period. UltiSat will implement and operate this project by leveraging its global network and service infrastructure, Secure Network Operations Center (SNOC), and extensive engineering and technical operations expertise.
