ALAMEDA, CA--(Marketwired - Mar 7, 2016) - Chipman Relocation & Logistics is pleased to congratulate three of the company's move coordinators for outstanding achievements in the moving industry. The coordinators recognized by UniGroup, a global leader in the transportation and relocation industry, included Judi Whiteman, Darma Thomas and Linda Martin.
Judi Whiteman, Relocation Specialist at Chipman's Portland, Oregon office, was awarded the 2016 Heart of Quality Honorable Mention. UniGroup created this award, one of the highest honors a move coordinator can achieve, to recognize exceptional work based on customer surveys. Recipients are selected annually among more than 2,000 move coordinators in the agency systems.
UniGroup also recognized Whiteman, Thomas and Martin for achieving the 2016 UniGroup Move Coordinator Certification. Whiteman achieved Gold level certification, Thomas and Martin achieved Silver.
Certification criteria includes taking more than 30 UniGroup University classes pertaining to the moving industry, customer service, sales, safety and compliance, with a final exam score of at least 80%. Applicants must also attend a two-day move coordinator workshop and receive full-year customer survey scores of 4.2 or higher, based on a five point scale. Those scoring at least 4.4 achieve Silver level certification. Gold requires 4.6 or above.
