Chicago Prosthodontist Dr. Mark C. Hutten is Treasurer of the American College of Prosthodontists


CHICAGO, March 8, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mark C. Hutten, DDS, MS, FACP, has become an officer of the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP). Prior to being the ACP Treasurer, Dr. Hutten served as the ACP Prosthodontic Forum Director on the Board of Directors. He has had a long line of leadership within the ACP, serving as the Illinois Section President before joining the Board. Dr. Hutten has had an incredibly positive influence on the College, and is expected to excel in his new role as ACP Treasurer.

A Maxillofacial Prosthodontist, Dr. Hutten's experience and knowledge extend far beyond the core dental disciplines. After receiving both a Master's degree in Prosthodontics and his DDS from Northwestern University Dental School, his postgraduate education included a fellowship in Oral Oncology and a General-Practice Residency, both at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics (ABP) and a Fellow of the ACP.
 
Dr. Hutten is a member of the ACP Spokespersons Network, which was launched in 2013 and now has 60 ACP members who are charged to proactively engage consumers, media, and other key stakeholders in educating the public about when to seek the care of a prosthodontist. The ACP is a non-profit and volunteer organization that employs a Central Office staff, which includes an Executive Director and other key employees. The ACP Treasurer is the chief fiduciary officer of the organization; and as such, serves as the official custodian of all funds and securities of the College and represents the College in all financial matters.
 
Prosthodontists are specialized dentists with advanced training in oral health issues, who are committed to improving patient outcomes.
