WXN Hosts Best-Selling Author Robyn Doolittle at Toronto Breakfast

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - March 22, 2016) -  WXN announces Robyn Doolittle, author of Crazy Town: The Rob Ford Story, will be taking the podium at their upcoming Speaker Series breakfast event at the Ritz-Carlton in Toronto on March 31.

Using her experience of being dropped into the spotlight as the lead reporter on the Mayor Rob Ford scandal -- Toronto's most controversial news story in decades -- Robyn will speak about how she was able to successfully navigate on-camera interviews, male-dominated arenas and the overall twist in her career path. Attendees will hear Robyn's story first-hand, along with advice about how to develop a personal brand for guidance and confidence through each career change.

About Robyn Doolittle

Robyn Doolittle is an award winning author and journalist with Canada's national newspaper, The Globe and Mail. Her investigation into the former mayor of Toronto's troubled personal life won the prestigious Michener Award in 2014 and her #1 bestselling book on the saga, Crazy Town: The Rob Ford Story, took the inaugural Kobo Emerging Author prize for non-fiction a year later. Doolittle began her career at the Toronto Star, covering crime and later municipal politics. A graduate of Ryerson University's journalism program, Doolittle was named as one of 12 notable alumni at the school's 60th anniversary last fall.
