SANDY, UT--(Marketwired - Mar 31, 2016) - Opengear (www.opengear.com), a leading provider of critical infrastructure management solutions through advanced console servers, remote management, monitoring, and cellular out-of-band products, today announced the appointment of David Martirano as its new Chairman of the Board and the addition of top talent to critical new senior roles within the organization.
Martirano is the co-founder and general partner at Point Judith Capital, where he leads the firm's information technology investing with a focus on enterprise software and networking companies. Prior to Point Judith, Martirano co-founded Rex Capital and led its investment stake in Yandex, Russia's largest search engine.
Opengear is also increasing its organizational depth and breadth via appointments of personnel that fill two new departmental leadership positions. Anthony Jackvony, the new VP of Finance, is based at Opengear's newly established executive headquarters in New Jersey. Jackvony is responsible for overseeing global finance and accounting functions. John Catsoulis fills the new Director of Engineering position and manages all of Opengear's research and development activities. Catsoulis, based in Brisbane, Australia where the engineering there has doubled in size over the past year, will be actively building out a new research and development team in the United States.
Additionally, Opengear is announcing the expansion of its manufacturing capacity in Sandy, Utah. This 20,000 square foot product manufacturing facility doubles its previous size and has earned TÜV Rheinland and CCC certifications.
