Private Jet Leader JetSuite Launches New Brand JetSuiteX With Three Routes from San Francisco’s East Bay, Starting April 19, to Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Bozeman, MT

Now a Private Jet Experience can be Purchased by a Single Seat, with Introductory Fares Starting from $109*

IRVINE, Calif., April 05, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The U.S.’s fourth largest private jet company JetSuite today launches JetSuiteX, a new public charter operator, which will offer weekday service in the busy San Francisco Bay Area to Los Angeles market on April 19, as well as weekend service to Las Vegas from April 22.

JetSuiteX will connect Burbank Bob Hope Airport with Contra Costa County’s Buchanan Field in Concord on luxuriously configured Embraer 135 aircraft -- with introductory fares starting from just $109* each way. JetSuiteX will offer service to Las Vegas on Friday nights, returning to Concord on Sunday afternoons.

The new operator gives East Bay travelers a unique new local travel option and returns regular service to the East Bay airport. Buchanan Field last had service to L.A. when Pacific Southwest Airlines served the route five times daily between 1986 until 1992.

On June 30, JetSuiteX will add up to four roundtrips per week between San Jose Mineta International Airport and Bozeman, Montana.

All flights may be purchased by visiting jetsuitex.com, by downloading the JetSuiteX app, or by calling 800 IflyJSX. (435-9578).

A new advertising campaign entitled “Private for the Public” launches sales for the new kind of air travel offering today. The theme reflects a private jet experience that is now affordable and accessible to a broad audience through public charter. JetSuiteX will provide many of the comforts usually associated with private jet travel but for the price of a traditional airline seat, offering:

  • 30 luxurious seats per aircraft, each with at least 36-inch seat pitch, legroom comparable to domestic airlines’ business class service;
  • three seats per row—a single and a double— offering additional space with a side table that may be used for work or play;
  • free WiFi and inflight entertainment onboard streamed to passengers’ personal devices; and
  • service only from private jet terminals (FBOs) so the experience will be faster and more comfortable, with no major airport delays, security lines, or long walks through giant terminals.

Now East Bay travelers to LA no longer have to travel to busy, congested airports such as Los Angeles International, Oakland, Sacramento, or San Francisco International. And unlike other alternative offerings, JetSuiteX clients don’t need to sign up and pay for a monthly subscription or travel in small propeller airplanes.

With service from travel-friendly options such as private jet facilities at Burbank Bob Hope Airport and Buchanan Field, there are no crowded terminals, long security lines, or stadium-sized parking lots. Buchanan Field even offers free parking, a huge benefit for business travelers used to paying high-priced airport parking.

The management team behind JetSuiteX includes principles that launched JetBlue, including CEO Alex Wilcox who was one of JetBlue’s founding directors and the airline’s third employee.

The new operator announced its partnership with JetBlue today where every JetSuiteX customer can earn TrueBlue loyalty points good for award travel on JetBlue.

“For travelers on the busy SF-LA corridor, JetSuiteX now offers a real choice – a private jet style experience for the price of an airline seat. Many of our private jet customers have been asking us to provide the JetSuite experience in an aircraft with more seats and longer range, and we've listened. The E135 is the perfect aircraft for a family vacation, group sports trip, or destination wedding, so people can even charter the whole aircraft very cost effectively,” said JetSuite CEO Alex Wilcox.

“Embraer is glad to enhance the existing partnership with JetSuite. The company will enjoy the robustness of this excellent product, with the best technical and economic conditions,” said Paulo Cesar Silva, President & CEO, Embraer Commercial Aviation.

"Contra Costa is happy to partner with JetSuiteX to give our residents and business interests another option for travel to Southern California," said Supervisor Karen Mitchoff, whose district includes airport property. "Buchanan Field is an important County asset, and we look forward to the new opportunities that this service will offer our residents."

JetSuite has provided high-end private jet service since 2009 on aircraft including 4-seat Phenom 100s and 6-seat JetSuite Edition CJ3s. With the acquisition of ten Embraer E135 jets, the operator is branching out into public charter service, where a private jet experience may actually be purchased by a single seat. JetSuite will also use the new aircraft for private charter, where the whole jet may be chartered for around $8,000 per hour (or just $300 per person per hour for a group of 30).

As with JetSuite’s entire fleet, the E135 aircraft will feature complimentary WiFi onboard and free inflight entertainment. The E135 fleet features custom interiors with additional soundproofing, leather sidewalls, and free WiFi, as do JetSuite’s other private jets. The ten E135 aircraft will be delivered by mid 2017.

Additional routes to be announced soon to major western markets, including San Diego, Santa Barbara, and Phoenix. For more information about retail flights and private jet membership, visit www.jetsuite.com.
