CINCINNATI, April 06, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Belterra Park Gaming announced it will begin the 2016 thoroughbred racing season Friday, April 29, with weekly races Thursday – Sunday until October 8. Post times for races Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays are 1:30 p.m. while the post time for Friday races is 3 p.m.
In addition to a special opening ceremony and first race, Belterra Park Gaming will also present the Lexington based, Old Friends Farm with a donation of $5,000 in support of retired thoroughbred horses and as a stall sponsor in a new barn at Old Friends Farm. The gift is also in response to a barn fire at Old Friends Farm in early 2016.
