The Medical Cannabis Institute Evolves Brand and Launches First Ever Medical Cannabis Curriculum for Nurses

The change reflects the Institute's mission to become the hub for international cannabinoid professional education reaching healthcare professional around the world.

As part of the new website unveiling, TMCI launched Medical Cannabis Curriculum for Nurses, the first comprehensive online medical cannabis curriculum for nurses.

The curriculum was developed in collaboration with the American Cannabis Nurses Association (ACNA), TMCI's latest author contributor, and includes the latest medical cannabis research, usage and clinical applications delivered by subject matter experts.

Topics include the Endocannabinoid System, Dosing, Psychiatry, Medical Risks and Legal Implications. The course features 12 lessons from 11 different authors and is certified for eight Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) contact hours. The CNE activity was approved by the Virginia Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

TMCI's affiliate program also benefits from the website redesign, thanks to the inclusion of a new affiliate portal. The portal offers real-time statistics and reporting, including performance analytics, to affiliates as they generate traffic and sales by promoting TMCI on their websites. The portal also serves as a resource center for downloading supporting artwork for their sites.

In addition to the new curriculum and affiliate portal, users of TMCI Global will experience a number of extra enhancements to the website. It has a new look and feel, and TMCI Global has streamlined the user experience to include new search functionality and increased filtering options. Now healthcare professionals visiting the site have multiple ways to access courses and topics they're interested in, and will readily see CNE/CME credit available for each selection.
