CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 22, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Aquesta Bank President & CEO Jim Engel is pleased to announce the hiring of a Charlotte City Executive.
Jon McConnell has joined Aquesta Bank as the new City Executive and will help develop and grow the commercial relationships in the Charlotte area. He will be responsible for aggressively marketing and promoting Aquesta in the Charlotte market to help foster significant loan and deposit growth. He will be originating commercial loans as well as working with a team of experienced lenders to achieve this end.
Jon has been in banking for over 17 years, most recently coming from BB&T where he was a Commercial Real Estate relationship manager. He also had stops at Capmark Securities, Forest City Enterprises and the FDIC. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute. Prior to his third knee surgery, Jon was active in triathalons.
Jon resides in Cornelius with his wife Tara and two boys, ages 1 and 3.
