Kids Celebrate Earth Day Everyday with Mother Earth Toons’ Environmentally-Focused Animated Music Videos

Children’s Entertainment Company Releases a Series of Music Videos to Teach Important Environmental Lessons for Free

Los Angeles, April 26, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Breakthrough children’s entertainment company Mother Earth Toons celebrates Earth Day everyday with a series of environmentally-focused animated music videos for children. Available for free streaming via the company’s YouTube channel, the animated shorts teach children important environmental lessons that range from wind power to organic farming and much more.

“It’s amazing to see the seemingly complicated concepts children are able to grasp when taught through song and animation,” said Harry Garfield, co-founder and singer/songwriter for Mother Earth Toons. “What we’ve attempted to do is not only teach them about their environment, but also inspire them to respect and care for it. If after watching our videos a child can look at a tree and think of it as more than a pretty decoration in their yard, then we’ve instilled in them a level of compassion that many adults still have yet to learn—and that’s pretty powerful.”

The company’s most popular song “I’ve Got a Habitat,” which has already received more than 270,000 organic views on YouTube, helps children draw the connection between their natural surroundings and the places animals call home. Other environmentally-focused videos include “Wind Farm,” which teaches about clean energy, and the “Organic Planet Farm.”

“I think we have done something really different, and hopefully, refreshing with these children’s songs and videos,” said Mark Lewis, co-founder and animator for Mother Earth Toons. “They are entertaining, educational, and work to inspire a new generation of caring and aware individuals who will hopefully place the environment as a special priority in their lives.”

However, Mother Earth Toons animated music videos for children don’t stop at environmental lessons. The company is also creating songs and animations that address various ethical and social issues as well. Still, each one has a common theme of empowering children to love, respect, and dream big.

In addition to its rapidly growing series of animated music videos, Mother Earth Toons recently announced it will also begin publishing children’s books based on its songs later this year.
